- This is an exceptional recording sale by a Brāhmaṇa of his Veḷḷāḷa slaves (veḷḷāṉaḍimaigaḷ), most probably to the temple. The sale price of 270 irāsi paṇaṃ was received by the seller in the presence of one Chilai cheṭṭiyār of Rājendrachōḻa pēṭṭai as witness. It is said that the seller, Vēlippiḷḷai Deyvanayana bhaṭṭaṉ kulottuṅgacōḻa biramādarāyaṉ of pālaraikuḍi in naḍuvil maṇḍalam had got the possession of the slaves by gift from his uterine sister koḍi-veyiraṅgaṭṭiṉa sāṉi, who was the wife of Tiruvādavūr Poṉmēyndachōḻa biramārāyar of Uttamachōḻa chaturvedimaṅgalam in Chūralūr kūṟṟam in Rajagembīra vaḷanāḍu. The slaves included one chūḍiyār, her four children and grandchildren too, both male and female members.
